Fairy Tale Invasion (Ages: 3rd - 5th Grade)
Summary: Ava wants friends, which is why she agreed to work with some classmates on a project about the modern relevance of fairy tales.  But when Ava’s partners show up late then leave early without finishing any work, Ava resents having to do it all herself.  With so much on her mind, it’s no wonder Ava’s not sure whether she’s awake or dreaming when she’s curiously visited by fairy tale characters who are surprisingly similar to her teammates and her father.
Her visitors seem to have their own problems, and Ava gleans a lesson from timorous Cinderella, brash Maid Marion, besotted Robin Hood, and evil Evil Queen:  her story is her own to write.  Newly determined not to be taken advantage of, Ava is ready to tell the others that their partnership is over.  Instead, she comes to find that her classmates have also learned a lesson about just how relevant fairy tales can be.
Rehearsals: Monday’s from 4-5pm and Wednesday’s from 4-6pm starting September 11th and going through November 8th.
Performances: November 9th, 10th, and 11th at 6pm.

The Wizard of Oz (Ages: 6th-8th Grade)
Summary: When Dorothy drops into the Land of Oz, only one thing is certain: she's got to find a way back to Kansas. A funny and fast-paced journey down the yellow brick road ensues, as Dorothy and her new friends travel to the fabled Emerald City to meet the Great Oz. When Oz demands a steep price for sending her home, a perilous new adventure begins. Full of ensemble possibilities, this imaginative adaptation captures the heart of L. Frank Baum's classic tale.

To make it more difficult, they attempt to combine them into one gigantic fable using Rapunzel, Rumpelstiltskin, Hansel and Gretel, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and other more obscure stories like Lean Lisa and The Devil's Grandmother.
Rehearsals: Wednesday’s from 6-8pm and Friday’s from 4-6pm starting September 13th and going to November 8th
